I was completely surprised by this rather special out of the way place . The receptionist was so welcoming and allowed me to change my room to one with more sunlight ( I ‘d arrived early after a long Camino walk) so that could enjoy resting in the warmth . She then brought me generous refreshments in the garden . Breakfast was very good. This is a simple but very hospitable place- just a few rooms, but perfect for the last night before walking into Santiago de Compostela.The big hotels could learn a lot from these little places about hospitality . It sounds a bit ominous going down to the restaurant next to a petrol station for dinner but this worked well- and I loved walking in orchard on the farm where this gem of a hotel is located. The house is a beautiful old stone building set in rolling green countryside. Carlos and Tania were very friendly and so helpful. The breakfast was made from local foods - cheeses, bread, hams, marmalades, fruit and lots more. It was lovely and relaxing to sit in the garden and listen to the birdsong.

The master bedroom has large windows that open to a gorgeous view of the countryside and sunset; the bed was the best yet in my camino since Porto; the kitchen is equipped with everything one might need- take advantage and make yourself a home-cooked meal; every room had personal touches; comfortable living room; washer-dryer available.

The host Vanessa was delightful! The house belongs in a magazine: it is well designed and fun to hang out in. The bedrooms with on-suite were comfortable, the kitchen was super functional and cute! The whole house was super clean and the view of the backyard was just spectacular. Located at 25 min from the Camino, it was the perfect stop to relax after a long day of walking. It was such a great house that we brought food to the house to enjoy it rather than go out to dine!

Great rural location with a much bigger swimming pool and more garden furniture than we expected. Very helpful owners who explained all we needed to know when we arrived late due to flight delay. They also phoned to check everything was okay early in our stay. The pool table, children's toys and bicycles were an unexpected bonus. Facilities in general were good and we had a great holiday.

Massive hotel on the outskirts of Pedron so the location is great for those doing the Camino. Big room and fantastic breakfast options. I highly recommend this hotel.
