We stayed here after visiting Beauvais Cathedral. it is a really interesting chateau in a very quiet location. From what I was able to understand the owner is Iranian and has recruited Persian speaking Afghans to run the hotel and they did a good job (and spoke good French too). Chaumont-en-Vexin is very quiet in August and we ended up having to drive all the way over to Gisors to find a restaurant that was open for dinner.

Very beautiful! Very well presented with most things that you could need. Plenty to do and the lady who owns the property is amazing. she was so kind and considerate. She did so much to help us and was always pleasant and friendly. Couldn’t praise her enough and was will to help us when we needed someone to communicate for us in French which was extremely helpful.
