Everything. La Tour de Cause is an exceptional place to stay. Anne and Jean were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was wonderful. They obviously take a lot of pride in what they do and how they present their lovely home.

This charming old home has been renovated to include modern comforts while retaining its historic feeling. It is located on a hill overlooking the river in front with a wonderful view of the Castlenaud castle in the rear. We were met by the hostess and her son, who showed us around the home and garden. The kitchen was supplied with everything necessary.

A perfect base on the Dordogne River to explore the beautiful Dordogne Valley especially the local area of the 5 castles. The house is compact and comfortable for two with everything you need for your stay. An excellent bakery and local butcher are across the road with a small grocery store. Canoeing is available 100m away and the lovely grassy and shady reserve has steps into the water and a shingle beach. We swam every day in the river and beautiful side streams where the current is low, all crystal clear. We did walks to the other castle towns through farms fields and forest, all flat and easy. A very special part of France altogether and Patrick’s cottage is perfectly positioned. Patrick is a charming host and takes a lot of trouble to ensure you have good information on the area.

Idyllic setting, the hosts were fantastically friendly and helpful. The breakfast was bountiful and very tasty, with something for everybody. Solen and Zack were excellent host and I would stay again without hesitation. Pool and Jacuzzi were perfect on hot summer's day.

Exceptional address and hosts Solen and "Zak" (sure not the good spelling ! sorry ...), we could not detail all the wonderfull positive points of the location here and attention from these so nice persons which made this stay one of the best in our holidays memories. With 3 children 5 to 18 years old, we were at the very center of Dordogne so many possible and exceptional activities, from castles visit, prehistoric sites, boat trip and splash in river, restaurants, villages shopping and sightseeing (15 mins from Sarlat, Domme, Beynac, 1h from Rocamadour ....) ... and benefitting after a long pleasant day, of the swimming pool or "competition" jacuzzi , having a drink while preparing the barbecue, view on the campain, and while sun was raising done, balloons flying off in the sky for a kind of poetic image ..... whaou ... we recommand ! (another big point is the high cleanliness of the rent, once again due to the neverending efforts from Solen and Zak ... so many thanks !) (and another point, with a nice small supermarket down the hill, very good meat, a super typical french baker, etc. etc. ......)
