What a treat! It was a pleasure to join Eric and his family during the evening clash between France and Portugal! The room has everything you need: comfy bed, good shower etc and a very pleasant terrace with a stunning view of the mountain of La Thuile. You feel as if you are in the hills here and having stayed in Chambery before this time wanted to be closer to the countryside as it makes for a delightful start if you plan to take the scenic route crossing the alps to Italy. The house is really charming with the atmosphere of early 20th century, surrounded by wineyards and beautiful landscape around. The room was very nice with comfortable beds and stylish bathroom. The well-equipped kitchen is situated in the basement of the house with a spacious dining room in style of a wine cellar, there is also a possibility to sit outside in the garden. The location is an ideal starting point to explore the surroundings and enjoy wine tasting. It is really a place to recommend!
