The place is amazing! The hosts are the most welcoming people I ever met. The room was nicely decorated with typical alsacian style. Bed was so comfortable that i was struggling to leave it in the morning.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is quiet and relaxed. There was a smell of flowers everywhere and in the night it was super quiet. Although the rooms are a bit older, the owners seem to do their best to keep everything neatly and in order. It was clean and we had everything we needed in our room. In my personal opinion its part of the experience, when staying in an „auberge dans les montagnes“, that the building and the rooms are not super modern but rather simple which makes the whole thing authentic. We dined there and were surprised by how good they cook, too. The puff pastry was selfmade, crunchy and buttery. It came as odeuvre and was quite a statement. The burger was made with freshly grounded meat and they even interpreted it „alsace style“, so it came with a hashbrown, sauce alsacienne and carrot puree. We also made use of the breakfast offer on the next day. It wasn’t fancy but included everything you would expect: Eggs, fresh baguette, cold cuts and cheese, marmelade, coffee, tea. Merci beaucoup for the wonderful stay and a bientôt!

Bernard made our stay so welcoming and special. This stay was the highlight of our trip. The church bells ring in the morning and in the evening. The village is tucked away in the wine region. The home is full of traditional furniture and decor. I wish we had a full week to hike, explore and take in the beauty.

Excellent location between Strasburg and Colmar. Convenient shops in the nearby village. The host greeted us with his homemade kugelhopf and local wine which I really appreciate it. We enjoyed his jacuzzi especially after long walking days in the city. The village has beautiful hill trails and we took the "cherry trail" which my family like it so much. Bernard was very kind to suggest for us to drive on Napoleon road on our way to Nice and also make a stop at Notre Dame de la Salette. We took his suggestion and we did not regret it. It was breathtaking.
