We really enjoyed our short stay in this charming, comfortable gite. It is situated in a quiet countryside location in parkland between Soissons and Villers-Cotterets. This is a lovely old auberge very recently in new ownership and with considerable character both in its setting close to a ruined abbey in a small historic village and its internal ambience with tiled floors and large open fire place. We have stayed here two years ago also in December. With the very charming new young owner there are very comfortable new beds and bathrooms and good traditional food with a simple menu.
