We were welcomed warmly even though we arrived in the night and much later than expected. In the morning breakfast was prepared for us and the apartment was cute and the beds were super comfy, just what you need after a drive that was extended by a long stint in congestion. Beautiful location too, would have loved to stay longer if time allowed. Two beautiful fluffy dogs who are friendly and soft natured. There was a hairdryer too, couldn't ask for more! Would definitely stay again.

The little village is really beautiful, the hotel is just next to the castle and we really liked the small wine bar just around the corner. Beds were good.

Best welcome by a hostess and host during our 10 days in Burgundy. Secure, enclosed bike storage. Just around the corner from at least one excellent restaurant. Hosts were good at providing information, both spoke English. Room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with beautiful old furniture, and a tile floor. Breakfast buffet was good -- meat, cheese, fruit, croissants, bread, and as an added treat, nonnettes, a Dijon specialty. Room was quiet. Chateauneuf is a beautiful town with an impressive castle that is well worth visiting.

Chateauneuf Jewel After spending a few nights in close by Chateaux which while stunningly beautiful offer limited modern conveniences, we booked the Chateauneuf Suites for 2 nights, mainly because the online photos looked so clean and gorgeous. Pleased to say that the actual experience matches what you see online - really nicely appointed suite in pristine condition. The setting of Chateauneuf is a picture postcard and the suite is a perfect way to enjoy it. And make sure you dine at Hostellerie du Château, La table de Guillaume - wonderful staff and excellent 100% local food.
