Didier was a kind, thoughtful and attentive host. In advance of our stay he contacted me to suggest putting an extra bed into large room, to accommodate our family of four in one room rather than needing to book two. It saved us money and also the hassle of managing the kids separately. The biggest luxury though was the incredible breakfast. In all my years of staying in B&Bs I have never had a better breakfast. It was all homemade and freshly prepared including fresh cakes, tarts and pancakes, enormous choice, and with so much attention to detail. We felt very well looked after. The house is lovely, with abundant parking a twenty second walk away, and we enjoyed both the pool in the garden, and a lovely swim in the nearby Lac de Bonnal. Thank you Didier and Rachel, I really do recommend Manoir Saint-Pierre!

Very nice and comfortable hotel, very friendly innkeeper, breakfast was excellent (so was dinner at the hotel restaurant), unpretentious, and on all counts authentic, nice and generous, an excellent value for money. We will likely return to spend more time and visit the surroundings.

It was a fantastic experience to stay in this unique location and I would recommend anyone who has not been to sample it and be overwhelmed as we were. The people there are very friendly.

Jean-Marie is an exceptional host, having built out his family's farmstead into a beautiful bed an breakfast. Every nook and cranny emanates tranquility, the rooms, yard, and garden are crafted beautifully and with tenderness and respect for the traditional environment, with myriad swallows zooming in and out of the barns, cows lowing and the bells of the village church chiming the hour.
