Excellent space for a couple or family of four. The kitchen had excellent facilities. The WiFi worked great. We appreciated the ability to do a little laundry at the property.

We self -catered but our hosts had kindly laid on some basic food items to get us started until we were able able to visit the conveniently located Co-op shop nearby and load up on all the food items we required. We liked the fact that the place felt like a real home: warm, clean and comfortable with all kinds of books, games and equipment provided.

Great place, modern, clean and spacious. This is all what you need for a lovely stay. Host was super cool with his indications and suggestions of places to visit. I deeply recommend this place for a stay outside Stornoway city centre. I confirm previous comments that main city is just 7 minutes by car, so pretty much available. To come back to Lewis and Harris island I would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and comfortable. Loved that we could do a load of laundry. Check in was easy. Very nice to have room to relax and to prepare our own meals.

The property was fantastic. We were travelling as an extended family - 4 adults, 2 kids & my elderly mother - & it had everything we could have wanted. There was a games cupboard & a backyard for the kids, & my mum appreciated it being all single level with an easy walk-in shower. The beds were comfy, & the house spacious. Easy drive into town. The lovely local goods left in the fridge for breakfast was a nice touch.

The owners left a nice welcome gift and were very accessible via message when I wanted to book another night. Great price and well equipped kitchen. Place was immaculate and got a full 8hrs sleep after a long day hiking.
