Awesome homely b&b. Firstly, not a hotel. This place is an old 3 story house, but don’t let that turn you away. The house is excellent. The breakfast is soooo tasty. Tasty fresh eggs, and great full English breakfast. Best we have had so far on our tour of England. The rooms are cozy, the king bed was the most comfortable bed we have had so far. The shower had good pressure, and was steaming hot. The towels are large, thick and fluffy. Only a 12 minute walk to the city walls, it was great to get our ‘’steps’’ in. 🙂. The owner/manager was very accomodating and friendly. We parked on-site. A bit of a squeeze, but no complaints. The room we had was a king supreme room on the top floor. It was super quiet, and we had the best sleep so far on our road trip.

The room was comfortable and large. The staff was very friendly, warm, and accommodating. The parking was a bit off-putting at first but don’t worry, it’s close by and simple to work out. Also, there’s so much to see that’s very close by! We didn’t plan out enough time.

A very cozy house in the center of Hexham. Perfect location for exploring the surrounding area. The house is beautifully decorated and is equipped with everything you could need. The host is very helpful and easy to keep in touch with. We felt at home from the start!

We used it as a staging post on the Way of the Light walk from Heavenfield to Durham. It was the perfect first stop. Dinner and breakfast were both superb.

My partner and i honestly had the best experience and stay. The studio had everything we could ever need. Really is cosy. And I don't think there could be a better location. The views are breath taking. We will be coming back for sure. 🙂
