The location and surroundings were beautiful. A village duckpond and castle across the road and visible from our bedroom - add spring flowers and sunshine for a real view. Everyone working there was friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic and we really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend highly.

Melissa and Rob welcomed us like family. The house is amazing. They have done and excellent job of restoration and used the finest quality fixtures, etc. Breakfast was exactly as we ordered. We especially enjoyed the fruit plate. An excellent place to stay!

Great, quiet location, perfect for relaxing breaks. The property is well equipped, full size kitchen, very spacious living room/lounge, luxurious bathroom, large bedroom with very comfy bed. It is much bigger than it looks on the photos, you have almost the full size of the building laying on the top floor, plus a large playing area on the ground floor. Plenty of information, brochure available to decide where to go and what to see, one that has been put together by the host is very useful. Free parking with enough space for multiple cars.

Beautifully appointed house with everything you could need for cooking, log burners etc. Hosts were very helpful but not at all intrusive. Would definitely book this again and would love to stay in the summer next time to make use of the lovely garden and patio.
