Beautiful, specious renovated traditional house overlooking a breathtaking view, wonderfully big yard, cosy equipped kitchen. Peaceful atmosphere of a traditional mountain Greek village. Marios and his dear Mother were such welcoming and helpful hosts. we had daily homely and tasty meals cooked by Marios’ dear mother in their lovely restaurant in their nearby hotel. We had such a great time that we added a few extra days . Thank you ever so much for your welcoming, generous and warm hospitality! We hope we will be back again soon.

From the moment we arrived we felt like home. The house itself is beautiful and it shows that it was built with love and attention to details, but the hospitality was the main thing for us. The lovely family that owns the place made us feel so welcome, as if we are guests at their home. From tips for the area and a real willingness to help with everything we needed, the overall experience couldn’t have been better.

such a beautiful property to stay in the middle of the mountains. the owner Christos is one of the nicest and most welcoming persons I’ve met in my years of travel. The room was massive. Breakfast was not much regarding variety but it was fully handmade, made to order from locally sourced produce (handmade butter and handmade jam) local eggs and handmade pies just from the oven. The night we arrived we ordered drinks and food kept coming without even asking.

Anthrakitis is a beautiful and hidden village and the guesthouse is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the nature. The host was amazing, super nice and very helpful. The breakfast was also exceptional. Overall, our stay was an incredible experience.

Such a unique location in a small village where you can dine in the square and observe the light as it falls over the mountain ridges. The village is near to the Vikos Gorge hike and many other area attractions, but without tourists. Yiannis shared with us herbs from his garden and local tips that made the experience even more exceptional. Highly recommended for those who want to experience the rhythms of life in a small mountain town and feel close to the natural world.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Requested for a couple of classes hot milk on the first night and the lady from the reception delivered them very quickly and at no cost. The breakfast was consisting mainly of cold items, but everything was delicious. Very relaxing place.
