Communication with John the host was always very easy. John was at the property when we arrived to welcome us and give us all the information we needed about his beautiful house and the island of Tinos. The house was spotlessly clean, has very good internet signal for home working, great air conditioning in all rooms and everything you need for your home from home in Greece. The kitchen was stocked with breakfast items including tea, coffee, milk, butter, jams, toast, fruit and cakes. If you are looking to come to Greece and sit on sun kissed terraces with a view of the beach, a good bar and restaurant, and a lovely place to swim then look no further.

We stayed for two nights in July, my husband and I, our daughter and my elderly parents. The house is beautiful. Very well designed, quality materials everywhere, bright, modern, with a full view of the mountain and the pristine beach which truely is a three minute walk downhill. The beds, are large and bedlinen, pillows, towels, showers etc of 5* hotel quality. There is nothing you wont find in this fully and very thoughtfully equipped house (even free Netflix!), and a family can easily stay for weeks with all needs covered. There are two full bathrooms on the ground level, and a small WC on the upper floor, so whoever gets to sleep on the couch/bed won't be inconvenienced. The mostly northern wind is a special guest around the house, which is a very common characteristic that I love about the island!

Amazing and comfortable suite, with very well designed architecture and aesthetics. Perfect to relax and unwind. One of the advantages is the view from the pool area and of course, the very friendly and helpful staff that made our stay memorable.

If you are looking for a real Greek atmosphere on a small quiet island with no tourists then Tinos is the place to go. If you want real Greek hospitality then this is the place for you. The owner's welcome was beyond the service of a 5 star hotel. The pictures do not do justice to the homely atmosphere that greeted me. Raki, water, cold drinks, fruit baskets, coffee and other goodies for a 3 day breakfast if you are lazy to drive to the nearest shop because you are captivated by the beautiful bay with fine sand (the most beautiful beach on the island) about 5 minutes walk away. Indeed the road leads up a small hill back to the small terrace of the chalet from where you can admire the fantastic colours of the sunset. We hope that this island will keep its charm for ever and that many will experience its magic. I wholeheartedly recommend Marinela apartment! Thank you for everything! The pomegranate that we picked from your garden took us back to the island for a moment, it tasted so special. The only way to get around the island is to rent a car!

We stayed here for 4 lovely days in late May and early June. It was quite a luxury to be right by the sea the whole time, hearing the waves and just walking a few steps to the beach. The house was very big and comfortable, very clean, and with all we needed for even a longer stay. There was a parking spot next to the house which was very convenient and rare, and plenty of balconies and terraces to just sit around and enjoy the view. We were even offered beach chairs. Great host too, which made sure we were always comfortable. If we return to Tinos, we'd love to stay here again.

Ein wunderschöner Ort für Familien, aber auch für alle anderen. Geräumiges, schickes, toll ausgestattetes Apartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern. Die Küche war spitze, wir haben uns dort super selbst versorgt. Jedes Zimmer hat einen Balkon, sodass man den ganzen Tag der Sonne nachtwandeln kann. Der Ausblick ist die Berge ist malerisch, selbst beim Duschen. Von Waschmittel über Duschzubehör bis Fön und Bügeleisen fehlt es eigentlich an nichts. Kalloni ist ein kleines aber gemütliches Bergdorf, das aussieht als ob es grad im Kommen ist. Die Gastgeber waren großartig, sowohl die Schlüsselübergabe vor Ort als auch die Kommunikation über WhatsApp - unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Sie haben unserer Tochter sogar ein kleines Spielzeug bei Ankunft geschenkt. Wirklich ein toller Ort und wir würden jederzeit zurückkommen, wenn wir in Tinos sind!

The location of the property was perfect for a base to explore the lovely island of Tinos. Lazaros, the owner, was the perfect host from the initial booking through to the end of our stay. Lazaros gave great directions prior to our arrival as was there to greet us on our arrival where he provided a map of the island along with several restaurant and beach recommendations. The kitchen was well stocked and the provision of water and coffee was a great addition for our arrival. The bed was very comfortable as was the living area. The outside area is great for both morning breakfast and an evening meal/drink whilst playing backgammon. The property was as we expected and more from the comfort of the place through to Lazaros’s exceptional hosting. As a real bonus, the other villagers we were fortunate enough to meet, were very welcoming and it was a pleasure to ‘chat’ with them - even though my Greek is very limited! I have no problems recommending this property as the perfect place to stay and enjoy the wonderful island of Tinos.
