We absolutely fell in love with this tranquil holiday cottage situated in the beautiful countryside near Pécs. The garden is spacious with great facilities such as outdoor dining spaces, a barbeque, hot tubs and a sauna! Everything you could need for a relaxing time! The holiday cottage itself is spacious and tastefully furnished. The hosts are extremely friendly and accomodating - we could not have asked for more. We hope to come back soon!

Great place! The apartment is located in old Closter, you live like in museum, but in a nice modern room. Breakfast was available, so you can start visiting historic place just from the morning :) Good wifi, convenient parking, friendly staff, restaurant is available onsite.

PuspokSzentLorinc is about 5km north of Hosszuheteny: the road from Hosszuhetenty is a track, not a metalled road, but I don't think it would be a problem in wet weather. Gabor is a lovely host, very friendly, he doesn't speak English at all, but I have enough Hungarian to get by. The room was classic Hungarian panzio, with shared cooking facilities and food storage. Breakfast is available if requested, but no evening meals. If you want beer/ wine etc (or food) then take it with you. Room was spotlessly clean. The panzio/ pension is in the middle of some beautiful walking country, including the Zengovar, the highest point in the Mecsek: the views are incredible, well worth the walk up the hill, not forgetting the climb up the viewing tower. Lots of marked footpaths in the surrounding forest. On the edge of Hosszuheteny is a bar, which serves burgers, pizza etc, a 5 minute drive, so obtaining supper was not an issue. There are also 2 restaurants in Hosszuheteny, one, The Tanyer, is very expensive by Hungarian standards, be warned they only do a sampling menu, (which I visited, it was just possibly the best meal I have ever eaten in Hungary). There is also a standard etterem. Would I go back there ? certainly.

This place is great! Our room was well furnished and had a private balcony with a table and sits and a wonderful view. But above all, the common spaces are great! A big kitchen really well furnished and equipped, big tables in the veranda and many places to spend time outside! The swimming pool, always at disposal, many tables and sits and sofas and deckchairs... If you go during summertime you will really enjoy this place! Last but not least, the couple leading this b&b are really kind and helpful people!

Beautiful big old house near forest. Free Parking place in the yard, fully equipped kitchen. Very kind and helpful owners. Strongly recommend!
