Loved the quiet, private cabin we stayed in and the gorgeous view. Being on a hill side surrounded by jungly nature and going for walks through farm fields and gardens was so lovely. Super friendly hosts who made fantastic breakfasts and helped with anything needed!

Kanugrahan Umah Kebun is a peaceful villa nestled near Bali Botanical Garden — an ideal setting for those seeking calm, fresh air, and a closer connection to nature. The villa is surrounded by a variety of vegetable gardens, making morning walks especially refreshing and rejuvenating. Its location is also quite convenient: approximately 700 meters from Jalan Kebun Raya, where you’ll find small shops and eateries (though most close around 8 PM). The on-site caretaker was exceptionally kind and helpful — easily reachable for any assistance, and even sent us a location map the day before check-in to help us find the villa more easily. The upper rooms are spacious and equipped with heaters, which are essential in Bedugul’s cool climate. The kitchen is a standout feature: well-equipped with a rice cooker, microwave, blender, juicer, refrigerator, and more — perfect for guests who enjoy cooking. The natural setting and quiet garden atmosphere make the villa feel warm and restorative.

Spacious clean chalet with outdoor bbq area and well-equipped kitchen. Two big-bed bedrooms and one twin bedroom were on one floor; there was a kitchen and a bathroom as well. The hanging out area with a yoga mat and a sofa was on the second floor, which was convenient for us. The place felt to be so tidy and lovely I wanted to stay more. There was a big bottle of water in the cooler for us, and we found Monopoly upstairs. Very nice easy road to property. If needed, you could even walk down to the main road. It was about 15 min in darkness, but doable. The host sent a few notes before arrival, I used the notes to plan the trip. Believe people when they say it’s cold there. IT IS VERY COLD. I was glad I brought my “winter” jacket, extra warm socks and two pants (was wearing them at the same time.) The heating systems at the house will keep the temperature okay for living. I was a bit concerned about the place having 5 reviews only, but it turned out to be one of the best places I staying in in Asia 🤩

The staffs were accommodating and hospitable. We came very early but had our lunch at their restaurant and the view was magnificient. We played with the hotels cat and the dogs were friendly while waiting for our room to be ready. Im impressed the staffs washes the tents. So its good they are cleaning their tents. And during my stay, they would clean the tents inside, washes the toilets and changes the curtains after each guests checks out. Richland has a restaurant, and we had our lunch and dinner served at our tents and theres a small shop nearby to buy drinks and titbits. Tents and toilets were clean. We had a bbq and a campfire. We were served teatime. It was very cold at night and we asked for an extra blanket which wasnt that expensive. For shower, water pressure was good but it seems the temp will drop if i use too much. If im not wrong they have heater upon request if its too cold at night - you can check again with the staffs. During the daytime, the tent was warm and each tent has a small fan to cool us down. They also have speedboat service if u plan to cruise around the lake.
