The room was tidy, clean, and spacious. The facilities were complete. The breakfast menu offered so many options for that price, and everything tasted delicious. The location is right in the city center, close to all culinary spots in Bukittinggi. The staff were all friendly, and I hope the service keeps getting better.

Truly a hidden gem in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Bukittinggi. 1. The location is close to famous tourist attractions (Pasar Ateh or Ateh Market, Los Lambuang for Kapau Rice, Jam Gadang, Lubang Japan, etc.) and also famous and legendary culinary attractions in Bukittinggi (Pical Sikai, Pical Ayang, Ayam Pop Family Benteng, Itiak Lado Ijo Ngarai, etc.), within minutes' walk. Because it is only less than 1km from Nizar's house. 2. The house itself is very beautiful (even though the building looks like an old building but is very well maintained), clean, the house smells good (as soon as you enter you can immediately smell the fragrance). I felt like I was returning to grandma's house. 3. The hosts, both Bang Danang and Uni Neli, were very kind and accommodating. He even allowed us to leave the car, because we wanted to stay overnight in Sawahlunto.

We were in the family room. The guy at the reception was so helpful and kind!! Everything was good and a little tip, make sure to order something at the warung they work with because was one of the best fried rice 👍🏼 nice sunset view from the roof!

Breakfast was great. Staff were generally good. One manager was quite "suggestive" that he was being very special, hinting at extra tips, but in all, superior to the Grand Rocky. The location was great if you like great scenery and quiet solitude. Would not be so good if you like city activity.
