Hotel Ceria is a very homey and strategically located inn. The friendliness of the staffs, from the owner to the housekeepers, Mr. Nanang (manager) who always made sure all our needs were met really made us feel at home. Everything to be honest! The people that work at the hostel are soo kind, helpful and friendly, and the place has a general good vibe. The breakfast is very good as well, and the bed was conmfy; there was a fan inside of the bed area.

Christine the owner is super friendly and super positive. When I came to this hostel it was already night-time and everyone was sleeping but thanks to a guest inside I could get in. Early next morning, I got up and heard some noise outside and I'm like omg I will be in chaotic trouble cause I just broke in someone's property. I thought I would be like "call the point" but as it turns out she's super comfortable and flexible. She didn't bother anything and welcomed me with her radiant smiling face. Also, during my stay, I asked a lot of questions and she was super informative. With huge patience, she gave answers to all of my questions. She's really a nice person with generosity and kindness beyond human imagination. Thanks a lot, Christine. I hope next time I will stay there for longer.

Very clean and homey at a good price! Lala and Rolly were very nice and accommodating to our needs, they even packed us breakfast on days we had early tours/ flights and gave us some bread in the afternoon when we missed breakfast for the day. ❤️

Really great experience here! The room was private, spacious, clean and everything was working well. The outside balcony was also private. The art is beautiful and everyone involved in running the place was lovely and helpful. There's a "common" area too where there is water, tea, coffee, with some tables so if you have some friends it would be a nice place to stay together, too. I can't recommend this place enough!

Incredibly charming property that contributes to a very peaceful, yet convivial and social atmosphere. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood that is a short walk to the Kraton, the Museum Sonobudoyo, evening dining and leisure options next to the Alun Alun Lor, famous Nasi Gudeg restaurants on Jalan Wijilan, as well as other eateries, a supermarket, and ridiculously good value laundries.
