Omah Minggir is so idyllic, best place to rest and relax and slow down especially if you came from a big city. This place is so close with the vast nature and abundant fresh air. I spent my stay here just to read, walk around in the paddy field, and eat in their cute resto (the food was home cooking, simple yet so delicious). The people here were amazing, I really felt at home because of them (thank you so much Mas Radit, Pak Yuli, Pak Wien, and 2 lovely Ibus). I really recommend this place if you want to experience another side of Yogyakarta. Definitely will be back to Omah Minggir.

Wonderful stay in this hotel! Everything - from the staff, cleanliness, and attention to detail - was perfect! The hotel is not only pretty, but also exceptionally clean (coming from someone who notes and values cleanliness the most) and our room smelled amazing. Staff was very welcoming and helpful, thank you! And a special thanks to Bella in reception who helped us when we were having some trouble booking our online train tickets on the day we were checking out :) Finally the attention to detail is worth mentioning - the decor, the perfectly groomed garden/patio, the small library with books to borrow and how breakfast is served. Highly recommended!

The room was very clean and spacious. The homestay is in the middle of Rice fields, so you get to hear frogs and geckos in the evening, which we loved. We didn't have any problem with bugs in the rooms given we were in the middle of fields. The bathroom was very clean as well as the room and nice and new bed sheets. The staff was attentive and welcoming. Lena, from reception, was extremely helpful during our stay. Always attentive to anything we needed and answering any questions. The breakfast was delicious and the amounts were generous. The first night we decided to have dinner there which was a traditional Indonesian dinner. Very good and fresh. All the meals are served on the lovely covered terrace. Lena coordinated a driver for us to explore other nearby areas, including our drive back to Yogyakarta after visiting Merapi Volcano. Our driver, Nur, was more of a tour guide. Extremely generous with his time, spoke English and drove us around many interesting places including picking fruit, Rambutan, from his family property. It was a true pleasure to share time with lovely people at a great place.
