If you stay in a local accommodation you don’t need a guide to see the waterfall and enter at a discounted price of 30,000 rather than 150-250K. I’d come back in a heart beat! We miss it already! This Home Stay was a wonderful slice of Balinese village life. Dekha and Sanny could not have been more kind or helpful. I came as a solo traveller and felt completely comfortable. The room is simple but comfortable and the wifi was excellent. Make sure you go on the waterfall trek and do the Lemukih slide, so much fun! A level of fitness is needed to climb back up the steps from the waterfalls. Beautiful food cooked by Sanny. The garden was lush and amazing. The Home Stay is in Sudage village so during the day you'll get to hear all the usual village sounds like scooters, roosters and music but the whole village is very quiet at night. I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing place to be. Thank you both so much.
