Family hotels and homes in Doonbeg

The resort was absolutely stunning and filled you with wonder as you drove up on it. Though it was costly, everything about the property made you want to snuggle up and stay. We checked into the links villas after dark. We reached out to order room service and while we were waiting, they sent a van over to pick us up to explore the lodge. Again, everything was stunning. By the time we got back to the villa, the dinner was arriving. The delivery person brought the basket in and set each dinner out around the table and then pulled out the appropriate flatware and glasses so we didn’t need to fumble around the kitchen. Of all the places we stayed while in Ireland (and we stayed in a castle that had been turned into a resort!) this was by far our favorite. In fact, I would say that the Tump IGL&H is the most luxurious place we’ve ever stayed between the property and the way we were treated. In fact, I looked into buying the mattress and was sadly disappointed because the company does not serve the USA.

Location, views, and how well it is stocked

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean, comfortable and super walkable to the town. The owner was delightful and very responsive. Great place!

The cottage was so cosy, and the location was beautiful and remote - exactly what I was looking for! Thank you, Mary!

We loved the owner Kathy, who was so lovely, helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were huge and more American standard than European. The rest of the guest quarters were so very rustic, unique and confortable that we felt completely at home. Breakfast was wonderful-the usual full Irish to get you thru till supper. Location wise, its 10 min to Dunbeg (nothing too special there) but 10 min more to Kilkee where the beach and restraunts/shops are wonderful.

Host was very friendly and accommodating. When i arrived early evening, she offered a lift to the village to get food.

We had a fantastic stay! The property is absolutely spectacular, featuring stunning ocean views and a spotlessly clean, comfortable space. Our host was exceptionally attentive, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire visit. We loved every minute of our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Cozy, clean and quiet. Absolutely lovely with good central location for exploring the surrounding areas!

All perfect Eugene and Collet are lovely warm people. Place is really home and warm . I definitely come back there

View, location, comfortable. Amazing hosts.

Your search has ended. Best stay ever. Gorgeous home, idyllic property, perfect location, kind, fantastic hosts and the sweetest and cutest neighbors you could imagine. Unforgettable. Don’t hesitate on this one. Just book it.

Spotlessly clean room in small family run establishment. Restaurant on premises was a bonus. Location is slightly outside of downtown Kilkee. Room included kitchenette. Very friendly and accommodating hosts.

Close to Kilkee without the $ or crowds. Friendly and helpful hosts. Great restaurant next door. (owned by the hosts).

The location, the view, the unique room. We appreciated the tv. Thank you.

Great property in the country and close to the beaches. 30 min drive to the Cliffs of Moher. Staff was wonderful and breakfast was delicious.

Absolutely beautiful house and location! We brought our dogs down to escape Dublin chaos and it was the most beautiful house and peaceful location. We cannot wait to go back! Aine was an exceptional host, kept us updated with information and provided little extras in the house that was just such a lovely touch! The house is spotless and has everything you need and more with board games, record player and smart TV! The house had everything you need and the location is so quiet and peaceful, it was absolutely beautiful! The views are stunning from the house and the beach just down the road. I couldn't recommend Sea Retreat Quilty enough! It was amazing and we cannot wait to return soon! Thanks again Aine for everything!
