We stayed with Bernie to assist to my friend's wedding at Ashley Park Hotel which is only 14 mins away by car. Bernie goes above and beyond making you feel so welcomed. She ensures that you are equiped with all what is needed in your stay; fresh bread, milk, teas & coffess, cereals, I mean everything. The property and its owners are outstanding. During a five night stay as a family group we couldn't have been in a better location or received better hospitality. From Helen meeting us on arrival, giving us "the tour" and the welcome pack till we waved goodbye on Sunday morning she was an absolute delight. Located on a hillside overlooking Dromineer, Lough Dergh each evening was spent on the full-width veranda watching the bats flying about as the sun set over the lake and the hills beyond - we even saw some shooting stars! Although in a very quiet location there's a local shop and pubs less than a mile away and everyone was really friendly. The accommodation itself easily coped with seven adults and a baby. There is an en-suite double bedroom on the ground floor which would be useful for anyone with mobility issues. There is always a shady spot to be found in the garden throughout the day.

The location was beautiful. Secluded. Safe. This place has everything you need for a nice vacation. The house was clean and practical. The views were to die for. It was the best place we stayed out of the 10 hotels we tried in Ireland.
