Everything was perfect I couldn't find anything wrong with the tent u could find everything u needed to cook n eat in the kitchen and a place to sit n eat. The staff are lovely u could ask them anything this place is out of this world I recommend it to anyone who wants to go n stay a weekend in it or a couple of days with the kids as they had a blast of a time staying in the Lovely tent 💯 per cent perfect place to stay the best holiday weekend ever

From the friendly management and staff, to the very comfortably appointed room, to the lovely breakfasts, The Brandtwell did not disappoint in any way. A bit more about the breakfasts: the breakfasts were included in our reservation and we were able to choose from the ala carte menu. Breakfasts were specially prepared for us and they were without doubt some of the best breakfasts we have had recently. We felt that we were treated as individuals by friendly staff rather then being mass processed in a large hotel breakfast room.

The Lough Rynn Castle was both regal yet comfortable. There are not many places where you can stay in a castle whose grounds have the ruins of an even older castle. My husband and I were traveling with our two sons and had a really wonderful time. Since the location is remote, we had some quality time together as a family at meals as well as exploring the grounds. The food was delicious. During our short stay, Ireland was experiencing a historic heatwave and our room was unbearably hot. The night manager on July 17th, 2022 was immediately responsive to our request for assistance. She was extremely gracious and went above and beyond bringing us ice water while the staff researched where we could be relocated. We cannot thank the staff enough for all their efforts in ensuring our stay was idyllic. If you are visiting Ireland, Lough Rynn Castle should be on your itinerary.
