Benni was a great host. He invited me for tea one afternoon when I arrived back from a tour. He helped set up cars and drivers to explore the Munnar area. The homestay has a pool. The room had a big attached balcony. The bed was a good size and comfortable. The bed was situated so that you could take in the view from bed. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The breakfasts were plentiful and a great way to share experiences with other guests.

We extended our stay here to spend 4 nights….and so glad we did…we needed ‘calm’ and got it!! Joe and his family couldn’t have been more accommodating and engaging. Super nice:) The breakfast was perfect and dinner each night was wonderful…and they catered to my daughter’s dietary requests. The morning mist views from the balcony were beautiful and all necessities were provided in the rooms. Joe helped arrange activities and transportation but we never felt rushed or ‘planned’. It was a perfect end to a crazy busy India itinerary.

The room was super clean, had a fan and an ac with private bathroom and fresh bed sheets. We also had access to an outdoor kitchen that comes with a stove and a dinning table with a beautiful private view on nature. The hosts were very accommodating and responded to all our requests. I used their fridge to store some of our food, they treated us with coconut milk and coconut water. We also got our laundry done for a small fee. The location is private but also very close to the bus stop and rickchaws.

Excellent location for nature lovers. The staff and owner are very attentive and friendly. Trips and tours based on interests can be organised by the staff. Food on premises is excellent with personal touch home cooking.
