Si busqueu un lloc a peu d'autopista, no és aquest; si busqueu tranquil·litat, vistes reconfortants i una casa acollidora i perfectament equipada, llavors sí, és el lloc. El tram de camí final per arribar a la casa no és asfaltat, però està ben cuidat, fins i tot en temps de pluges. El contacte amb la Chiara va ser només per telèfon, però tot va anar bé, i estava sempre disponible. Damunt de la llar de foc, un fragment dels escrits de Carlo Bo sobre Le Marche: «Les Marques representen el país de les correspondències subtils i silencioses, un país on l'home ha sabut trobar un lloc que no contradigui l'aspiració a la llibertat i a la dignitat. Un país noble, en el sentit exacte del terme, perquè s'adapta a la naturalesa de la terra i en sap obtenir els fruits sense forçar-la ni perjudicar-la mai. Un petit miracle, que convé no oblidar quan se circula per les grans carreteres imposades pel progrés: admirable com a espectacle i, sobretot, com a exemple d'equilibri humà». Il Mulino del Duca, a mitja hora d'Urbino, és un bon lloc on viure aquest equilibri.

The hill town is a unique, cozy, and characteristic B&B with a beautiful panorama from the terrace. The staff was amiable and I liked it a lot. There is a nice restaurant. So you can rest a bit there or explore the north of the Marche. It's not far from the Adriatic coast, so Fano is close at hand. It's not far from the Gola del Furlo. The price was ok (maybe I took advantage of a last-minute deal).

Very quiet bnb in a renovated farmhouse about a 10 min drive from Urbino. Several cute dogs on the property. Heated floors in the bathroom are so nice. I went in the off season so I was the only guest, but it will make any dreams you have of moving to the Italian countryside come true. The hosts were very nice and helpful as well.
