I loved the view of the ocean from the hotel room and from the onsen. The beds were very comfortable, and the shuttle to the sand bath was very convenient.

Thoughtful staff, Onsen, Our room, Shuttle bus. We came on a rainy day, just before the typhoon warning was issued. The staff was very thoughtful to send us messages and let us know that JR was stopped before our arrival. They picked us up to the hotel. What was unexpected was that when we enquired about the restaurants nearby, the staff gave us some recommendations and helped us find a taxi. But because of the rain, no taxi was available. They were very kind to offer a ride for us. We know it was only meant for shuttle service, and we were very grateful for the extra work and kindness you showed. Thank you so much! We will definitely come back again when we visit Japan! Hopefully it will be a sunny day next time!

The best host of my 3 weeks in Japan. Felt like visiting with an old friend, Hideaki made the stay so special. He had the best recommendations and we stayed up too late sharing stories and shochu in his family ryokan. Great food and private onsens and lovely staff. I won't forget my time here.

Pro - offer unique hot sand onsen until 9pm, must try. Room is clean, specious, if you select sea view, you get best sun rise view from the sea. Inclusive dinner and breakfast were nice. Public onsen is as good.

Sweet and clean little family Ryokan close to the harbour of Ibusuki, about half an hour walk from the hot sand spa. If you stay, you must have the excellent traditional Japanese food for dinner, that is prepared by the sweet and friendly hostess with a lot of love.

It is a well run family ryokan, with a real sense of duty and care shown by the staff. We were collected from the port on arrival and driven to the railway station on departure for free. Lovely gesture which made our stay all the more sweet
