Wonderful countryside stay, in traditional Japanese home with all you need to feel like a local. We loved to play vintage nintendo arcade games and cook with local ingredients. It’s a remote location, easily reachable if you are driving. It is a convenient stop over in between Koyasan and Kumano kodo.

The place and the scenery was fabulous, with the mountains and river all in one view it's really wonderful, the onsen was also good and the restaurant they have provided great food. Highly recommended if you got time to get out of the busy life

Ideal location and loved spending evenings and mornings on the terrace listening to the waves. The staff was incredibly gracious and went out of their way to assist customers, especially the young woman assisting with breakfasts! The breakfasts were tasty, croissants especially good, and we appreciated the cook changing up items on the menu daily to add variety. The rooms were spacious and the bathrub overlooking the water was great! It was relaxing and romantic. We would love to return and stay here again.

We stayed for one night while on a short road trip visiting family nearby. The front desk clerk was friendly and checked us in quickly. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well. Good amenities in the room. More amenities available at the front desk if needed. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was delicious and very economical for 100 yen! The location was easy to find and convenient to nearby family who was driving us. There was a Lawson store next door. We would stay here again if in the area.
