This was the perfect stop after hiking Stage 3 of the Pekoe Trail. It is right next to the Trail before town. The view is fantastic, it is quiet and an ideal place to relax and recover. We had a hot shower and a good night of sleep in the comfy bed. Prosper is your host and a true gem. He will make you feel at home immediately. He helped us having food delivered to the Homestay, made us some tea and a nice breakfast in the morning and organized a tour on the nearby tea farm.

まず、本当に空間として素晴らしいホテルです。 私たちの他にゲストはおらず、ホテル全体が私たちのものでした。ウェルカムドリンクから始まり、ホテル内を案内していただきました。 私たちは1番上のスイートを予約しましたが、booking.comでは開放されていない10人ほど用のコテージも案内していただき、好きな方を選んで良いと言われました。 部屋の予約にはディナーもついていますが、それについてはドレスアップする必要はありません。笑 また、アフターヌーンティーも素晴らしい経験でした。 茶畑の中でたくさんのお菓子、セイボリー、紅茶を楽しむことができます。 ゲストがいない場合はチェックアウトの時間も自由でした。 また必ず来ます。

The photos on booking.com do not do this house justice. I have been back for a month and I am still dreaming about the peace and tranquility we felt whilst we stayed there. Akila is truly a gem, and we really appreciated being checked up on by the owner throughout our stay. We wished we could have stayed longer and we will definitely be back to stay longer next time.

The food at Highgrove Estate was consistently excellent, and they were more than accommodating when it came to our dietary requirements. Mr. Fernando and his team were always available to assist, yet they managed to do so without ever being intrusive, allowing us to enjoy our privacy. If you're seeking a vacation that promises complete relaxation in a dreamlike and tranquil environment, Highgrove Estate is the perfect destination. In just four days, we were able to shed the year's worth of work-related stress. We can't wait to return to this little piece of paradise and reunite with Mr. Fernando and his wonderful team.
