The hospitality of the host Ahmed is exceptional. He communicated clear with us in advance of our arrival. Tea and cakes are ready when we arrived. We got to meet his kids. He gave us information of the nearby attractions. Room is clean, tidy with good wifi. The location is perfect with lots of activities to do around just outside of a busy Nizwa and Bahla.

Gorgeous ambience and decor. Very clean, quiet, and easy to check in/out. The owner was very helpful with questions and needs. We had a bonfire which was such a fun treat.

True hospitality lives here. I had a wonderful stay at Roghan Hospitality Inn, which takes its name from the charming little castle next door. The place was incredibly comfortable, with a warm, traditional feel.

I loved everything! The apartment is spotless and very comfortable. It has a small kitchen area (kettle, microwave), a living room area and a big comfortable bed. Marita the owner is lovely and helped us with advice on restaurants, sights and where to park at sights. There are restaurants and grocery stores close by. Al Hamra is a perfect base to visit Jebel Shams, Nizwa, Bahla Fort and Misfat al Abriyeen. The apartment is very easy to find with Marita's instructions. I HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Homestay is just within the ancient Al Hamra Village, thoughtfully renovated and decorated by the owner. Near to Misfat Al Abriyeen, Bahla, Nizwa, and Jebel Shams. The Al Habil Park offers panoramic views of the old city, mountains, and date palms. A must visit indeed. Parking is a bit tedious but manageable. You can also park at the bottom area and walk 2 mins to the hotel.

The farm grounds were fantastic - the pool and surrounding area was clean, there were many different options for outdoor seating, the baboons were interesting (but is it fair to keep baboons in a cage in the middle of Oman?!) and the maintenance guy was quite helpful and friendly. Although not in great condition, the pool table and ping pong tables were fun for kids. The owner was lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. He brought us extra kitchen items when requested as well as coffee and dates. He checked on us regularly via WhatsApp.
