Despite our luck with the weather, Sambag Hideaway was located in a great location, 10mins away from the busy main beach. We could hangout in the bar area, with hammocks and huts, enjoying the thunderstorm. The host was also amazing, giving us local tips and suggestions for places to visit and local guides so we felt we were in safe hands. The best was her suggestion of getting a transfer from Moalboal to Oslob to see the whale sharks then getting the ferry to Panglao, something we didn't know about prior to visiting and was worth getting up at 4.30am for. Thanks for the great time, loved every minute of it

It was a blessing to stay in Ancelle Cristo Re! Very quiet place with a garden where everyone can enjoy nature and refresh your mind! There was direct access to the seaside, and no people around! We were lucky to see turtles, and the sea was good for snorkeling. Sister Teresa is the kindest person with a good sense of humor. She was very helpful all the time with any requests. She helped to book a canyoneering tour for us, to rent a motorbike and to organize a taxi from the property to Cebu. Our villa was clean and cozy with beautiful details inside! The breakfast was served on a time we wanted. The menu was different every day, and it was so yummy! We were very impressed by the hospitality of the sisters who organized fantastic vacation stay for us!

The property was in a great location, it was well maintained and very clean, we had everything we needed in our room, the bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful with hot water The swimming pool was a great addition Breakfast was good cereal toast yougurt eggs bacon pancakes fruit enough choices The staff were lovely We are in the restaurant one night and the food was fabulous Parrots were cute and didn’t hear them at night My only advice don’t book trips or taxis at hotel they are a lot cheaper outside

Hands down the best play to stay in Moalboal. Cozy spacious room with aircond, fan, tv with youtube/netflix. Surrounded by tall walls and a pool in the middle, that a great architectural concept and it feels secluded and luxurious throughout the stay.

The place is absolutely gorgeous. As you come in through the large front gates, it’s like your own private secret paradise. Really loved the large garden area, with jacuzzi. Rooms and beds are so comfortable. The place is absolutely stunning at night once lit up. A really fun and peaceful place to stay with friends and family.
