Marco, our greeter/host, was super helpful and informative and exceptionally responsive to all our questions. He really went above and beyond the call of duty. Granja is a lovely sea resort, very quiet in October. A couple of nice restaurants and bakeries nearby. 30mins on the train (which is a 5min walk to the station) takes you into Porto. Trains are super cheap and reliable! We also used the Bolt app, which was equally cheap for a group of us. The villa itself is very well equipped. We were a group of 8 ladies who spread ourselves out over all 3 floors. Beds very comfy. The top floor wasn't as dormitory-like as I expected. There is some privacy with use of curtains to divide the floor space. The view from the top of the house is fab! Pool small but useable.

Very comfortable for 2 people. Even though it's a tiny house, the kitchen was well equipped so you don't need to depend on restaurants, there were no problems with hot water in the shower, the heating also works (it might get a little cold in October, but for us it was perfectly fine, there were also additional blankets). The place is very clean, there was shampoo and shower gel as well as towels. Very clean. Good connection with Porto.

Alda is a fantastic host, kind and warmhearted. We felt in her home as in our own! We had never stayed in such a beautifully decorated place before! Alda gave us a guided tour of her home. The room was very nice, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean and nice, with the entrance just from the room. We used the kitchen to prepare our dinner in the evening and make coffee in the morning. Alda offered us to use everything that was in the kitchen and made free coffee for us. The kitchen had everything needed and more: coffee machine, kettle, microwave, fridge, stove, oven. The supermarket and the seeshore line are both 5 min walk distance from the house.
