The location of the property was great with a handy café within walking distance for coffee in the morning or an evening meal. I like the way all the bedrooms are set around a beautiful courtyard so it felt very inclusive. And the games room was amazing and great for all the family!

We enjoyed the little house right next to the pool. The pool patio area was great place to chill out. Loved the views from pool and terrace. Nice little areas to enjoy around the grounds with seating and views. BBQ, private parking. So much to visit around the area. Restaurant and Shop 2 minutes walk. Just perfect holiday, Thoroughly recommended

Everything! From the windmill itself, so beautifully restored, to the garden and all the facilities on the property. The breathtaking views, perfect for a marvelous sunset. The well equipped kitchen for preparing our meals. The sound of silence at night… it’s a little piece of heaven, with absolute privacy, right here, on this earth. And there’s lots to see and do, if you wish to go out and about, because it’s soooo close to the best beaches and restaurants by the ocean and the lagoon. Óbidos, the medieval town is a short 10’ drive, and the historical city center of Caldas da Rainha it’s a beauty. And last but not least… The hosts were a true delight. They went above and beyond for us. Mrs. Fernanda and Mr. João are proper hosts that resemble true friends. Don’t miss out on this gem, people!

Amazing holiday house with wonderful hosts. We loved every minute of our stat. The family who owns it is always ready to help you with whatever you need. The pool is perfect, there is an amazing garden and the views are perfect. There is a small grocery store and (really good restaurant) in walking distance. A trip to the beach will be 20-30 minutes by car but you will only want to stay at the pool.

Our host was very nice and helpful. Our family loved the heated swimming pool and the games dedicated cabin. The place was calm and relaxing.

The room was pleasant and the beds were comfortable. It was nice that the towels were replaced on the 2nd day. Everything was clean. It was great having parking.

Very convenient location, close to downtown, eateries, the train and bus station. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Surprisingly many spoke English. I would book a room at the Cristal Hotel again.
