This house was one of our favorite from all the accommodations we have ever had. At first location in genuine and lovely village of Maramures. It was extremely quiet place, we heard only birds. The view from the balcony and windows was amazing. The house is large and everything you needed was available for a comfortable holiday. The kitchen is small but very well equipped. Interior is stylish and well thought out. Local housekeeper, a dignified old man waited for us at the gate. He introduced us to all the details of the house though he didn´t speak English. The communication with the owner was easy and nice.

Our hosts were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. All meals we had were very good. The location and views are beautiful. The pool and hotel are very clean and welcoming. A lovely family place where you feel welcome and at home.

The location!!!!!!! Isolated from the 🌎 ! U really can feel the silence and live in the natural , u the cabin and the silence around u ! The equipments are comple from everything ( looks like the owner think what he would use in the cabin ) so u will find everything! The barbecue and the stove are build great to be used with the wood 🪵! I was with my wife and two daughters 3 years and 2 months .. In the cold nights the cabin was warm enough to sleep with short 😴 I will definitely come back !

We Booked with short notice before the checkin and the hosts were super nice and waited for us. The location is very cozy, everything is new and very clean. The rooms with double bed were very comfortable. We highly recommend Gospodaria Klaus.

I was traveling through Maramures to visit some of the beautiful, centuries-old wooden churches they have in the region. Ieud was one on my list as were Poienile Izei and Barsana, which are all very close to here. In any case, this lodging is located on the main road in Sieu, so was super-easy to find. They have a prominent sign out front near their gate if the GPS is failing. In any case, the owners are an extremely kind couple, willing to chat and share some palinka. From their backyard, one can "spy" on the neighbors who have sheep, cows, chickens, and a host of other livestock. I thought the room was super-comfortable, the adjoining bathroom was great, and I slept very soundly. There was plenty of space to car my rental car out back as well.
