Great location, good amenities, host was very nice and told us all about Öland. Pleasant outside sitting area and proximity to the beach, we had breakfast at the nearby pastry shop. Satisfied with the price even if bedsheets cost extra.

Good breakfast with availability of glutenfree options. Hotel was situated in a peaceful area with plenty of parking spaces. Rooms were a bit old school but comfortable and inviting. Even some nice drinks, snacks to make ones stay better. There is also an outdoor kitchen with a stove and a microwave alongwith plenty of cutlery, utensils that one can use to cook/warm ones own food. A back garden with a pool and a mini pond with lots of fishes in it. One can rest there and relax if one wants to chill at the hotel and not go around on the island. Two lovely cats who usually say hello in the morning on the way to the breakfast area. Good value for money hotel.

Kjell was the best host. I consider him a friend. He answered all our questions. We got to see the king of Sweden. I can not thank him enough for all his advice. The location is great. We were able to come back later to this property for another day. I highly recommend it if you are going to stay in Borgholm..

We felt like home at Guntorps Herrgård. The place is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast is great and the staff is friendly and professional. The room was completely new, cozy, and, most importantly, cleaned.
