The breakfast was absolutely excellent. Fresh made omelet, orange juice, fresh crusty baguette; other breads, danish, cheese, carafe of hot coffee, etc. The whole experience was very different and so much better than what I am used to. I am used to staying in 4 and 5 star hotels but this villa experience is more like a luxury bed & breakfast. The food is absolutely gourmet and excellent. The decor in the whole villa and the room is combination of African and French tastes. Whomever did the exterior and interior design has great taste and vision. The location of the villa is quite far from Dakar and in a rather remote area which is a pleasant departure from a city atmosphere. Very tranquil and I slept so well in a very comfortable bed. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The villa also provided transportation to and from the airport at a very reasonable price. The driver, Michel, is a very good driver, efficient and prompt. I cannot say enough good things about Villa Chanalu.

This hotel is absolutely charming! The rooms are a nice size. Clean with great air conditioning. We really appreciate the screens on the glass doors. The hotel is located 5 minutes from a beautiful beach. It has a lovely swimming pool and lounge areas with lots of character. The breakfast omeletts and crepes were very tasty. We highly recommend Maison de Clara.

Its a tranquil and beautiful paradise for a perfect weekend getaway. Once you enter the premises, you forget where you are. The pool is pristine, music plays in the background, the greenery is lush and the rooms are super comfortable. The hosts are extremely personable and you feel like their pampered guest! The breakfast is delicious and plentiful and evening meal was cooked perfectly. The massage services are also available and highly recommend

Big size rooms and big size pool. Exactly like the pictures. The cleanliness is exceptional. Good breakfast service. If you ask for ice, they will get ice for you. We got a nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift for celebrating a birthday there. Shared kitchen has coffee machine, microwave, stove, and oven. Basically, everything you need but elevated. It's such a great place to stay. Will visit again next time.
