The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed, including towels, slippers, TV, wifi, and so on. The homestay also provides free water, coffee, and tea, as well as delicious biscuit snacks. The couple that owns the place was also super friendly. They helped me carry my suitcases up the stairs, gave me a warm welcome and explanation of the room, and even helped me arrange a scooter rental. When I told them I was vegetarian, they helped me find nearby vegetarian restaurants to eat at. They really helped make my trip to Kinmen a warm and happy one. The homestay is located in the middle of Jincheng, the largest city on Kinmen. There are many shops, restaurants, attractions, and fun streets to walk along nearby.

The property is absolutely beautiful - a well restored early 20th century traditional Kinmen house with an inner courtyard, located in the old village of Beishan. It is quiet, peaceful and utterly relaxing. Attention is paid to the smallest detail and everything is spotless. Bathroom and appliances are fully modern. A small kitchen is available with plates and cutlery and is stocked with snacks and other basic goods. Locally sourced Chinese breakfast is served daily with an explanation of each item. Staff are very friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I truly adored my stay. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in and very highly recommend it.
