Enjoyed first visit so much came back for longer stay. Beautiful garden courtyard and attractive, spotlessly clean rooms. Food is delicious and generous. Service is friendly, fun and natural. So helpful I actually played tug of war with my muddy shoes and pants because they insisted on helping. Love the location because it's in a quiet place outside of town but an easy, comfortable walk into town. Or grab a nearby boda boda. Feels very much like a retreat with opportunity to meet other travelers over meals or while lounging on the hanging beds. There are grocery stores, casual restaurants and a street market within easy walking distance. Simply a lovely place.

The place, the host and the workers are all amazing! It is the best place! You won’t regret staying there! Very calm surroundings, loved the pool, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. But the most amazing thing is Patricia (the host). She is exceptional! She will welcome you like a friend, she will give you amazing pieces of advice and, if you need anything, she will be very happy to help you. She helps her community and has such a big heart. She cooked us breakfast every morning and asked us what we wanted, like in a restaurant, wow! Come with an open heart and mind and you will have the experience of a lifetime! Quiet setting, which easily allows to walk to a nearby restaurant. We stored some luggage while we spontaneously went for a motorbike trip. Infrastructure all works, different areas inside and outside are available to chill. Rooms correspond to the photos on booking. The homestay is with a very friendly and helpful couple who lives in the smaller house on the property. The second time we stayed at Mkoani’s Homestay a baby girl joined the family ☺️

Amazing house, exactly what one would want before or after climbing Mt Kili. Simba and his staff are wonderful and incredibly accommodating. Good location near to Moshi center but far enough away to avoid the noise. Would happily stay again. Thank you, Simba!

More that a drop is great! Beautiful, quiete place that is still a walkable distance to town (30min) or quick taxi ride. Food was especially stellar and veggie friendly. Breakfast is great, very delicious fruits and eggs made fresh every morning. The homemade spreads including guacamole was an especially nice touch
