Quiet setting, which easily allows to walk to a nearby restaurant. We stored some luggage while we spontaneously went for a motorbike trip. Infrastructure all works, different areas inside and outside are available to chill. Rooms correspond to the photos on booking. The homestay is with a very friendly and helpful couple who lives in the smaller house on the property. The second time we stayed at Mkoani’s Homestay a baby girl joined the family ☺️

This was the best place I stayed at in my entire time in Tanzania. Moshi was my base for all my time in the country so I always left my big luggage there and came back. It felt like home everytime I came back. During the three weeks I kept coming and going, they didn’t even ask for payment until I decided my final night there. The breakfast is the BEST I had in all of Tanzania as well, they prepare so much food for you and it changes everyday. I stayed there so long that I stayed in almost every room and they were all great. I also felt safe walking in the neighborhood to get to the town, it’s also easy to catch a Tuk Tuk or motorcycle from the main room to the town. Simba is very attentive and helpful also. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I was very ill on arrival and the staff helped get me to the near by hospital right away. They were very accommodating and helpful. We set a new flight early the next morning and they organized a ride to the airport for us. My husband was alone with our two young boys and everyone was very helpful. We were lucky to stay here with such wonderful people.
