Very roomy Easy drive into town

The location was fantastic, right off a main road, but in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment was large, with a king sized bed in the main bedroom, a queen-sized bed in the living area along with a comfortable sectional sofa. The kitchen was small, but was kitted out with everything you needed -- new pots, pans, ample silverware, dishes, cups, drip coffee-maker, and electric kettle. There may have even been some appliances that we didn't find or use! We cooked our meals; if you have never used a propane stove, don't hesitate to ask for instructions (you need to self-light it). The property has a small swimming pool which we didn't use, but it was a nice touch. These apartments are in an older-style but all of the furnishings were new in the unit we rented. There are also 2 AC units (modified window ones) which were a tad noisy but since we had ceiling fans in the living and bedroom, we used those more than the AC units. We weren't in there for most of the day anyway since we came to go scuba diving. Also, Russ is a gracious host, he was understanding and sympathetic when we told him we were stuck in San Juan. Check in/out couldn't have been any easier - he showed up with the keys as soon as we got there and for check-out all we did was leave them inside and let him know. Personally we love renting an apartment, we like to source and prepare our meals, we appreciate the extra space -- we also had a nice balcony -- and we don't need maid service and things like that. If you're self-sufficient and like doing your own thing, renting an apartment from Red Awning is for you!

Great location, liked the view, the condo was big, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, easy secure parking, the kitchen had everything we needed, appreciated the water filter, appreciated the thoughtful extras - cooler, chairs, beach towels, snorkel gear.

It has all been said in other comments. Great location, wild waves crashing, you need a rental car, and mind the potholes. Walk to nice little beach at Cane Bay, limited food options close by, and a wonderful high-end restaurant next door. If you like this scenario, you ar going to love it.

Everything! This place is my favorite! The rooms have great views from legit every single room. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The cleaning staff is amazing and the staff in the bar/grill area is unmatched! I truly can not wait to go back. Mahi bites at the bar are a must. We also saw a shooting star off the benches facing the beach! Even if you do not eat at the restaurant on Friday, you can see the fire show that they have! Tons of parking and adorable cats! The mattress was very comfortable and the light up beds are fun!

The location is perfect. Right in front of the port, across the street from the ocean and from here, everything is walking, for the stores, Restaurants and Beaches. Also, the communication with the owners was awesome. They were always checking on us. They even help us to get a taxi very early in the morning. We really appreciate all they did for us. They even text us to make sure we made it to our destination the day we flew back home.

The location was perfect, and exactly what we were looking for. If you're looking to stay in the quieter side of the island, Frederiksted is the perfect town. We loved the restaurant (Flyers) that was attached, and we loved the little dog adoption bar downstairs too (Ruff Start.) The check-in process was so smooth, and the daily housekeeping was great. We loved our stayed here, and plan to come back again later in the year, and with our two sons next time too!

The complimentary breakfast was a lovely touch.. all employees were very friendly..rooms were large and spacious.. Overall a great experience.
