We visited in winter and were the only guests here, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet next to the reservoir. The owner was so kind and made us food when we arrived after a long hike. The room was beautiful and the bed very warm and comfortable. We loved the dogs and cats to play with outside!

I really enjoy the trekking tour through the ancient H'mong villages and the terraced fields. Spectacular view especially at dawn. I definitely come back here in harvest season to catch more beautiful scenes. Ps: you should try raw fish with traditional wine here. Very good sauce!!!

If we could give this place more then 5* we would. BEST place we have stayed in and we have been travelling for 3 months. The Hmong House Sapa has SUCH a homely feel. Sue and her family are the loveliest people we’ve ever met, really take care of you and want you to have the best experience possible. They offer activities and will help you book these and will also arrange you taxi drop of and pick up. They will also involve you in their family dinners in the evening which are so yummy and fun!! Views are amazing with beautiful treks close by. The stay is located in the middle of a beautiful little village which allows you to really see the culture. Honestly wish we could stay longer!! I was also really poorly for a couple days and the family really looked after me, gave me medicine, herbal teas and even upgraded by partner and Is room to ensure I got the rest I needed to recover. Love them so much! If you looking at booking this place, BOOK IT!

Beautiful location and the most friendly staff. We arrived super early in the morning and the family got up, made us tea and let us have a nap in one of their own beds. The family dinner was also really good. Some of the family speak good english, some dont.
