Lake Grappa is an absolute gem! The food was out of this world – fresh, flavourful, and far beyond what you’d expect in such a small Northern Cape town. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made our time in the restaurant so much fun. The cottages are spotless, comfortable, and excellent value for money. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

    Lovely clean and comfortable stay at Kakamas Hotel. The perfect halfway point for us that gave us some rest and kept us fed and watered with a generous restaurant on site. Breakfast was just what we needed. Bonus for a family of kittens and geese that hung around the property!

    It was a cozy stay and we loved the swimming pool in the hot summer. The aircon was amazing because we were there in the middle of summer, Gwen our host was super friendly and we loved every moment of it. Even our dogs had lots of fun

    The air conditioning mentioned does not meet the demands of the Northern Cape heat, nor does it reach the bedrooms. The shower, is a hand spray in the bath with no fixed wall attachment. The children did enjoy the pool and the welcome drink was a nice touch. However, we did not sleep well here in what felt like a Wendy house.

    Where do we start about this property. It's beautiful,clean and spacious. Very well decorated. You get the best view and spectacular sunset. They grow grapes, and we get to walk with our kids in the far. Oh, and the dogs ! They are so adorable and lovely. Best nanny ever for the kids :). We will definitely be coming back here, but next time for a longer stay.

    It's a beautiful hotel. They have beautiful rooms and a pool. My kids really enjoyed the pool. They have a restaurant with really great food. The rooms had a double bed and a shower, mini fridge and tv amongst other things
