My recent stay at The Langham Shanghai Xintiandi was absolutely wonderful. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and professional – from helping with early arrangements for a special occasion for my parents to offering excellent dining recommendations, everything felt personalized and warm. The room my parents stayed in was beautiful and perfect for their celebration. While my own room had a slight odor initially, the team handled it promptly after I informed the front desk, which I truly appreciated. One moment that truly stood out was when I encountered a dishonest taxi driver attempting to overcharge me more than four times the normal fare. Several hotel staff members (three or four, in fact) came outside to support and assist me immediately. Thanks to their calm and assertive help, the situation was resolved, and I felt completely safe and looked after. I’m sincerely grateful to those staff members for going above and beyond – because of them, what could have been a distressing moment turned into a reminder that kindness and professionalism can shine through, even in the most unexpected situations. Overall, the experience was memorable, and I would happily recommend The Langham to friends and family. Thank you for making our stay so special – and for helping me end my Shanghai trip with a truly positive impression of the city.

There are few shopping mall nearby within walking distance 5 minutes. The building out looking is a bit old, but the inside is great and Morden. It is actually a local residential building, therefore do not expect for a reception.

I really appreciate his effort to get us familiar with the area, patiently giving us recommendation for restaurants, directions to train stations, and even attending to our various requests. We got an upgrade to family suite. The room was absolutely fantastic and spacious. We will definitely come to stay again when we stop by in Shanghai. Mr Sun and Mr Feng also were helpful in attending to our needs, helped us get a transports (even stopping taxi in the middle of the road). Overall the staffs were superb. Thumbs up to them.

The property was built in 2010 and features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The apartment has facilities for disabled guests. It is a clean, spacious, comfortable accommodation with complete facilities. The location is close to many famous shopping places. You can walk to Nanjing Road in less than 5 minutes. From this accommodation, you can walk to The Bund and enjoy various shops. If you talk about the accommodation, I must say that the owner is more helpful. She is very helpful in various matters. My family and I just came to Shanghai for the first time. There were many questions that owner was always answered quickly and coordinated promptly. If I go back, I will definitely stay here again.

The language barrier in China is really tough, but the hosts speak perfect English which was of a big help. The apartment was clean, they clean it for you daily only if you want and need. The metro station is right below the building which is perfect, you don't need to go out of the building. Just go to the basement floor and there are a lot of restaurant before you go in the metro station.
