Featuring an outdoor heated pool, La Residencia Puerto Hotel & Spa**** is set in Tarifa, with stunning sea views. This is probably one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in. The staff were delightful, our room, with its balcony and view to Morocco was spectacular. The attention to detail in the design and decor mirrored its location and the rooftop pool and sundeck made it perfect. Breakfast was amazing. The spa, which was extra, was a wonderful experience too.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Apartamento Rural La Bandolera is located in El Bosque. Outstanding place. The decor, location, view, order, was all fantastic. The apartment is very well furnished and updated, a great place to relax.

Located in El Bosque, Casa el Anden 11 provides accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property, a 24-hour front desk, and a tour desk. Fernando was extremely helpful and had lots of great advice an information about the area. Accommodation was clean, modern, and comfortable and very well-situated.

Situated in Tarifa, 800 metres from Playa Chica and 1.1 km from Los Lances Beach, Casa Florinda Tarifa features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. The apartment location was perfect. In the heart of Old Town but not too loud. Only a 10 minute walk from the beach. Lovely roof terrace. Close to lots of great restaurants. The host, Audrey, was very contactable and friendly.

Family-run Casa El Sueño is a restored white-washed house in the centre of Arcos de la Frontera. It offers free Wi-Fi and a roof terrace with excellent Lake Arcos views. The view from the terrace is stunning! Even better than the view from the city's mirador. The breakfast was very good and genuine. The host was kind and helpful and provide us all the information.

Set in a restored olive-oil mill dating from the 19th century, Casa Rural El Vihuelo’s charming rooms offer mountain views. This is a beautiful property with lovely rooms and comfy beds. There is a pool and a fully equipped kitchen with indoor and outdoor dining areas. Perfect for preparing your own meals if you prefer. It's a working farm with a variety of animals to keep the kids amused. You can do worse than simply spending the day on the premises. Ideal location for exploring the Sierra de Grazalema and within easy reach of Arcos, Jerez, Cadiz, Seville and Setenil for a day trip. El Bosque is a charming little town with a nice selection of supermarkets cafes and restaurants. It's also the location of the office which issues the permits needed for some of the walks in the area. Excellent value for money. Our new favourite country retreat.
