Facing the beachfront, そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse offers 2-star accommodation in Ino and has a shared lounge, garden and terrace. I picked this place last minute on a motorcycle tour of Shikoku. The family that runs this place is wonderful. They're very friendly and helpful and know the area well. The room and bed were comfortable, the Family Mart next door was convenient, and the breakfast provided was oishii!

Located a 12-minute walk or a 3-minute bus ride from JR Kochi Station north exit, Katsuo Guest House offers Japanese-style dormitory rooms with air conditioning. The guest house is very comfortable and welcoming! It is located near bus station and around 10mins walk to Kochi train station, so it is very convenient. The common area and rooms are maintained well (very new) and very clean. Most importantly, the staffs and owners are very friendly and kind! I had enjoyed my four nights stay here a lot and meet many great people! :) Highly recommend to travellers who visit Kochi!

This is the best stay ever! Definitely beyond our expectations. It was in a lovely quiet countryside, with one modern style cabin facing the rice field and mountains, and one old Japanese style house facing the zen garden, and you can access both! The wooden hot tub was amazing ! Must try! If you plan a longer stay like 10 days you will absolutely fall in love with the slow pace of life and never get bored! You can relax in the backyard, have a little nap on the hammock! The owner has a dog, some chicken in the yard and many vegetables and herbs! I think the family with children will also enjoy the stay. Last but not least, the owner is an expert in cooking, especially meat. If you are a meat lover, game meat lover, you will find this place as your heaven. Me and my husband stayed there for 10 days, never having the same food twice. The owner also made our meals based on our likes and dislikes (my husband could eat his favourite Meringato, many times! and me, had a lot of sushi, sashimi and local seafood!). Overall, a memorable countryside culinary stay. Highly recommended.

Guesthouse boro-ya is located in Toyonaga. The property has barbecue facilities, as well as a garden. Guests can enjoy mountain views. At the guest house, each room has a terrace. Everything was amazing. Location is INSANE, in a very rural village overlooking the valley. The owner, Yancy, was super friendly with us and told us his interesting story. He provided everything we need, such as cooking tools and also games and entertainment. We appreciated to have the whole house available for us, for cooking and chilling. The outdoor bathroom is a real experience. I absolutely recommend to try this accommodation.

River, Mountain Retreat at 四万十Accommodation is situated in Mihara Village. The property features mountain and garden views. Rosie is one of the best parts of this accommodation. Not only her friendliness welcomed us well at the beginning, but also the talk and recommendations about planning the trip. The mosquito net is another thing that we really like.

Featuring free WiFi, Oyamanoyado Michitsuji is an 100-year old, traditional Japanese-style home in Otoyocho. Free private parking is available on site. very welcoming family. So nice to experience being with a family in the countryside. Amazing meals and stunning views. perfect get away!

Located in Tosashimizu, within 1.8 km of Hakusan Shrine and 2.1 km of Kongofuku-ji Temple, TheMana Village provides accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi as well as free private parking for... Breakfast and dinner was superb with excellent service. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The rooms were spacious and the view amazing. This is truly a dream come true kind of hotel.
