My partner Rosa and I stayed for three nights for our mates wedding at this glorious location. I cannot give enough praise for how beautiful PBMR is and how welcoming the staff are here. A unique setting in that you can self cater or have breakfast and an evening braai delivered in a hamper at a time of your choosing. The thatched cottage has a garden and patio area with a braai then around the corner is a covered area with sun beds and around the next corner you have a small pool and a lovely covered terrace where I sat every morning at 6.30 watching the clouds and sun change the look of the surrounding mountains and valley.

The location is just perfect, nestled in between the mountain ridges and overlooking the valley. Hosts were friendly and helpful and available at any time to assist. Facilities are great for braai and perfect for larger groups as well. Beautiful dams, and we caught some bass on lures. On top of the beauty this is one of the very few truly organic fruit farms. The environment is healthy, not pesticides and a lot of best practices that all farms should implement, and even at our own homes. Well done for this gem of a place. We will certainly be back!

This is one of the most charming places we’ve ever stayed. we enjoyed cooling off in the plunge pool, both an inside shower and an outside shower looking up at the mountains, so many private books and crannies to relax in, EVERYTHING! Superb!!! Lambs and chickens on the farm were fun!
