Home Away From Home – Ascott M-City Foshan I really, really enjoyed my stay at Ascott M-City Foshan. The location is fantastic—surrounded by restaurants, malls, and lots of places to explore if you feel like taking a walk. It’s such a bubbly, vibrant area. I came for a business trip, but honestly, it felt like a vacation thanks to the ambience and comfort this place offers. The rooms are clean, neat, and thoughtfully designed for your absolute comfort. Ascott M-City truly lives up to its promise of a "home away from home." The city views—whether at breakfast or from your room—are stunning. Every detail has been carefully considered to give guests a premium yet reasonably priced experience. I loved the gym, swimming pool 🏊, relaxing lounge, and the beautifully styled restaurant where breakfast is served. The environment gives a luxurious, high-quality feel without the inflated price tag. If you’re looking for value, comfort, and a peaceful yet premium stay, this is the place. The service was outstanding. A huge thank you to the staff, the ever-helpful bell boys, Ruby, Louis Tan (Sales Manager), and the always-smiling chef who made my eggs just right every morning. This wasn't our first stay in the hotel. The location is great - a stone-throw away from the Guangzhou South Railway Station, and 20mins ride from the ancient city of Foshan. Our trip coincided with a heatwave with temperature reaching 39C, so the indoor pool was a very welcomed facility. Special shout-out to Xana and her colleagues for the impeccable service. Upon check-out they gave us a box filled with local fruits, which served us well for our train ride back to Hong Kong.
