I have had to catch flights early in the morning or late in the evening multiple times at Shanghai Pudong airport and I always had to stay at a hotel which is not located in the airport itself. To my surprise, I decided to give it a go at the Holiday Inn and I was blown away by this hotel. It's conveniently located between terminal 1 and 2, so no need to exit the airport. The facilities are brand new, the hotel is extremely clean, the rooms are huge and they even let you "park" your trolley outside the room so you don't have to drag your luggage around when you have to catch your flight. The staff were super helpful and I was very impressed by this new hotel. I have stayed in more hotels in China than I can count and I will definitely stay here again.

The room is spacious and comfortable, with a bathroom with both shower and bath. The view from the room's large windows is unrivalled. Yet, what was even more striking was the extraordinary helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff. Throughout our stay we felt important and they looked for ways to make our stay easy, comfortable and enjoyable. I would recommend the bar on the 26th floor, the view is wonderful. The roof terrace is also special, but the cold winter weather during our stay did not allow us to enjoy it, but even at this time of year it should not be missed for a few panoramic photos.

Amara Signature Shanghai is set in Shanghai, only a 5-minute walk from Changshou Road Subway Station (line 7 and 13). It is a 10-minute drive from the bustling Jing'an Business Area. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Everything in this hotel was perfect. Everybody were helpful specialy Mr. John and Mars, they were helful, kind and always in touch with us to make sure everything is perfect. I recommend this hotel to every one.
