Housed in a hundred-years-old Bai ethnic group style building, the property maintains the historic elements yet decorated with modern amenities. You will find free bicycles and a 24-hour front desk at the property. It is a small and very beautiful courtyard, perfect for us as we wanted to experience the old chinese style of living. It is also very comfortable, with a big shower and bath. The location is absolutely great because it is right in the middle of the ancient town, but on a quiet alley. The two ladies managing the place were very kind and helped us organize the transportation from and to train station/airport (as cars are not allowed till the accommodation) The breakfast is noodles soup or eggs, yogurt , coffee, fruit so it was enough for us.

Only a short 1-minute stroll from Shuhe Ancient Town, The Bivou features accommodation in local and modern styles combined together. Blending in by making use of the barbecue facilities, lazing in soothing massage, going horse riding or enjoying a fun time with your children at kids’ club seems like a nice getaway. Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Not really sure where to start. One of the nicest B&B style hotels I’ve stayed anywhere in the world. Staff go above and beyond everyday and the ambience of the place is so relaxing it’s hard to stay standing. It’s just off the Main Street in the quieter of the “old towns” Shuhe, but it’s so quiet you wouldn’t even know it’s there. Beautiful surrounds and convenient to literally everywhere. Literally, just stay here: way more personal than any of the bigger hotels in the area I’m sure.
