Built in 2017, the property includes sauna and hot tub. The accommodation provides room service, a 24-hour front desk and currency exchange for guests. The hotel is located near the old town and easily contacted by wechat, the owner is friendly and responded us very quickly. You can book car service to pick up from airport here with reasonable price. The same with tours around the city such as trip to Snow Moutain, Lugu lake,.... Room is nice, clean, and warm with air-conditioner, hair dryer, shampoo and everything else, I don't need to bring any of those with me in this trip. Especially if you love cake, try the rose cake from the hotel. It is so good I have to ask the owner to order for me to bring home as gift. They offer better prices than you go buy it yourself out in the old town. To sum up, it was a very pleased experience with Gemmer Hotel and Lijiang Old Town.

Every unit is fitted with a private bathroom, where a selection of luxury bath amenities can be found. Everything was really perfect. Fantastic, spatious room, extremely kind and helpful staff, and small touches like fruit platter or free ginger tea since I was coming down with cold. Spotlessly clean and excellent breakfast. I personally like Chinese breakfast, but there was also a broad choice for those preferring Western version.

You will find free bicycles and a 24-hour front desk at the property. A very charming courtyard hotel, beautiful decorations in the room. The staff was so helpful. They organized the airport pick-up for me which was very smooth. The room directly faced the beautiful courtyard. They provided tea in the room, and umbrellas when it was raining. The location is very central, and the room was so quiet. It was a perfect stay.

InterContinental Kunming is a 10-minute drive from Xishan Forest Park and Haigeng Park. Kunming Railway Station is a 30-minute drive away while Kunming Changshui Airport is a 40-minute drive away. Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. He was always very active with quick responses, willing to help and did his best. If I was asked, I would give him and his concierge team at Intercontinental Kuming the full score 10 out of 10.
