AustraliaThe accommodation was comfortable and a very short walk to the pub. When we arrived the beer garden was in full swing with ANZAC Day festivities. It had great atmosphere. We had dinner and lunch at the pub and the food was delicious, the beer cold and the staff were wonderful. The Australian Hotel is a short walk to the rest of St George and across the road from the Balonne River. St George has done a great job with the walkway along the river with the landscaping and information boards. The town was bustling with travelers and we enjoyed a nice morning tea at one of the cafes. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Australian hotel in St George in Queensland.

The room was large and comfortable and very clean. The bed/s were comfortable too. Great large shower that was clean with awesome water pressure. Really hard to fault. The motel rooms are in the rear of the Hotel and even though the refrigeration unit for the drive-thru bottle shop was running most of the night it wasn't too intrusive.
