Located at the top of the ridge above Palm Beach (a few minute drive away) with views over Pittwater and the Ocean, tall trees, abundant bird life and Rudi's collection of red vintage vehicles, our stay here was a real treat. Rudi had amazing stories to tell of his adventures all over the world and Avalon provided a delicious breakfast. There was room in the fridge for our perishables (this was part of an extended self-catered trip for us). And the presence of the kookaburras, cockatoos and lorikeets just outside the window during breakfast was astonishing. This is what a true B&B experience should be about!

The breakfast was really nice being able to choose a breakfast dish off the menu. Portions were large and tasty. The kids loved the Nutella pancakes. Staff were friendly and great location with a short walk to town.
